McDonald’s isn’t traditional cuisine? 🙂 I have lived in California my whole life. In fact, I have never lived more than 1 hour away from where I was born! Where I was raised we had a lot of migrant workers from Mexico, and I grew up thinking Mexican food was a California cultural food! But then, so was Italian food with ravioli, lasagna and pizza. Of course, my mom cooked a great soy sauce based stir-fry. Pad thai? My mom made the best! Our United States is a hodge podge of cutures, and I believe our traditional food includes each and every one!
