I want to have some brisket so badly. It is hard to find in the stores here, even harder to find at restaurants. Only three in town actually have it on the menu. When we lived in TX brisket was a cheap meat to feed a crowd. Here in CA, it is almost $5 a pound, if you can find it. That is a lot to pay for a meat that shrinks up and has a large amount lost to fat. You are lucky.
