Southern Ontario Weekly Menu Plan
May 27 – June 3
Yeah… so it turns out we didn’t menu plan last week… er… my fault! Â We still ate local and well, but it was stressful not having our reliable menu plan! Â Our trip to Atlanta last week was awesome, it was so good seeing everyone–great friends, church family, my old students–but we came home quite exhausted. Â I also returned home as a “Landed Immigrant,” making my residency in Canada official when I returned across the border!
One great dish from last week was the Roasted Root Veggie  and Tofu Maple Stir Fry that was my contribution to the HOMEcooked installment at HOMEgrown.org.  It turned out great!  It was also gluten-free and vegan , a plus for my extended family’s varied dietary needs!
That said, I’m happy to have a plan for this week that we came up with together. Â I’m especially looking forward to the Brazilian Black Beans and Rice for 1-Dish Wednesday which I think will be simple and awesome!
