Buy Brewing Grains and Yeasts Locally in Kitchener/Waterloo!

The Local Kitchener now sells basic homebrewing ingredients: malts, grains, liquid malt extract, hops and dry yeasts for local pickup in Kitchener/Waterloo.  Grains are sold by the pound and can be crushed for a fee of $0.25/pound.  Malt extract is sold in 3 pound sizes.  We now offer locally grown organic whole-leaf hops and pellet hops, farm-direct from Michigan too!

The Local Kitchener is not a retail store, but rather ingredients sold by order from our home.  We do not ship, you just need to place an order and then arrange a time to pick it up.

Featured Recipe: HefeKWeizen

A lightly hopped, refreshing summer beer, featuring local malt and hops, this beer beer is a nice patio sipper with hints of banana and clove accompanying the smooth malt character.  5.2% ABV and 14 IBUs.  There are three options for making this recipe, detailed brewing instructions included with kit:
