They also include detailed instructions like mashing/steeping temperatures and times, hop additions, and fermentation temperatures and bottling recommendations (priming sugar is included for 1 gallon batches only). Bottle caps and muslin steeping bags for grains can be added to recipe kits at a discount ($1 for 50 caps, $1 for muslin bag).
